Full Description
Pre 1979. Stray Find.
A range of finds were recovered by the late Frank Curtis in this field, which he designated F106. The information on these finds was collated by F. Healy who examined the Curtis' catalogue and part of his collection. A proportion of the finds were listed in (S1), with a much more comprehensive list appearing in (S2). The worked flints found included:
1 Neolithic transverse petit tranchet derivative arrowhead.
2 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age plano convex knives.
According to (S2) the Curtis catalogue also lists:
1 Neolithic arrowhead.
1 Neolithic leaf arrowhead
2 'slug knives' - presumably the plano-convex knives listed above.
1 'harpoon barb' - probably a Neolithic transverse arrowhead.
E. Rose (NLA) 23 November 1993.

Arrowhead previously recorded as NHER 17535.
Identified by F. Healy (NAU), August 1981. See (S2).
