Full Description
1974.
Building site northeast of castle.
One rim of Grimston Thetford storage jar.
Twelve medieval unglazed sherds, four medieval glazed; two roof tile fragments, probably medieval.
Finds from spoilheaps only; as rest of site too far advanced; very little pottery for amount of soil. Indicates little or no medieval occupation?
