Summary

It is recorded that in 1910 a partially polished Neolithic flint axehead was recovered from this parish. The exact nature and location of this discovery are unclear.

Above is all the information in the NCM register.
In Frances Healy's unpublished thesis this is located as 'Wretham Road near the Blacksmith's shop'. But I have failed to find any record of there ever being a Wretham Road in Sprowston, and think this is a confusion.
