Summary

A late 16th century brick and thatched farmhouse with 18th and 20th century alterations that is now divided into two dwellings. The house has a door with a 16th century moulded timber surround and original ovolo moulded windows. The whole façade of the house is decorated with chequered brickwork.

Large L-shaped house, brick, 2 storeys with extra storey in gable on foot of L, i.e. at north end of west facade. Diaperwork. Plinth along base. Windows all altered; one small blocked, with hoodmould on ground floor upper windows were longer; those in gable wall much larger. Two chimneystacks against north wall.
Illegible plaque over one door (house now divided into two).

The farmhouse is Listed as 16th century, T plan rather than L. Left hand doorway is 16th century with original door. Blocked ovolo mullioned window in south gable first floor with hoodmould, similar window at rear cut by 18th century window. Lobby entrance plan. Main roof with straight windbracing, crosswing with curved windbracing.
