Summary

Fieldwalking in 1978 to 1979 in advance of the consruction of a bypass road recovered a number of prehistoric flints, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds and a post medieval roof tile fragment. A leaf-shaped flint arrowhead and a sherd of glazed Grimston Ware pottery were also recovered.

One flint flake. One leaf-shaped flint arrowhead. One glazed Grimston sherd. One post medieval sherd. Two stoneware sherds. One pantile. One post medieval tile? (probably recent).
