Full Description
Wind mill.
Used as house; retains sails; struck by lightning January 1978. See newspaper cutting (S1) in file.

A tower mill built 1840 to 50, last used in 1916.
Converted before 1920. Restored 1968-9 - information from [1].

Listing Grade II (S3) describes mill as of five storeys, with cap sails and fantail. Windows on each floor to east and west and former door on second floor south. Restored by [3].
Attached house of two original bays and added third bay, two storeys.
Added bay is timber framed and jettied. About 1920.
Door and doorway reused, probably from Merton Abbey, Surrey.
