Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1978 discovered a medieval finger-ring made from copper alloy. The ring took the form of a plain loop decorated with a central raised band which was milled on each side.

1978. In field south of Nunnery, east of Barnhamcross Common. Found with metal detector when area a building site.
Bronze finger-ring, plain loop decorated with central raised band milled on each side. Diameter 18mm.
