Summary

According to the 1883 Ordnance Survey, a windmill stood here in the post medieval period. Further research shows that a postmill at this site was for sale in 1794 and that it was last used in 1883.

Grid reference corrected from (S2) which shows the windmill standing. It is probable that the earlier mills were on or near this site as the optimum windstanding.
