Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1979 recovered a Roman dolphin brooch, a worn Roman sestertius and a small late medieval belt hook.

October 1979. In field north of River Yare. Found with metal detector.
1st century Dolphin fibula with decorated crossbar and beaded bow; also worn sestertius of early 2nd century.
15th century small belt hook with circular openwork plate.
