Autumn 1979.
Stamford Ware rim of spouted pitcher, late 11th-mid 12th century. Kilmurry fabric B or C, glaze 1, form 5. Neck and handle of jug, Stamford Ware, light yellow and green glaze on body, spiral groove coils round neck and body.
Grimston Ware jug, lower part. Patchy dirty iron-green glaze.
Anglo-Dutch drug jar fragment, blue on white pattern, glazed. Late 17th century.
Chinese porcelain saucer, blue on white, glazed, 18th century.
Part of chamberpot? rim, saltglazed stoneware. Probably English (possibly German) mid 18th century, blue on white, glazed.
2 mid 19th century handles of English earthenware.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NAU).
