Information from [2].
E. Rose (NAU), 24 March 1982.
June 1998. Air photo interpretation.
RAF aerial photograph (1946) shows ring ditch of mill mound to southwest of present farm buildings.
B. Cushion (NLA), 11 June 1998.
January 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The earthworks of this windmill mound are visible on aerial photographs (S3-S6). A series of earthworks relating to land divisions potentially of a broadly contemporary date have also been included within this site. The level of earthwork survival is not completely clear from the aerial photographs and available lidar data.
The mapped extent of this site has been significantly expanded in order to incorporate the earthwork land divisions, however a second polygon has been retained in order to indicate the position of the windmill mound [3].
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 31 January 2017.
