Summary

Fifteen pieces of Roman samian pottery were found in 1949. These include fragments of vessels, cups and a dish.

1949. 'Near village'.
Fifteen sherds Samian ware, some decorated, one with part of stamp - all worn.

Said to be fragments of two decorated type 30 vessels amongst the rest.

KLM say also forms 29, 33 and plain conical cups, including plain dish form 31R.
