Summary

On 23 November 1944 a Mosquito bomber crashed at this site on a training flight with the loss of both crew members. The site of the crash was excavated in 1975, revealing the remains of the wreckage.

Excavated by East Anglian Aviation Society.
Said to have been destined for Duxford Museum but staff there do not know of it 1979.
