Full Description
November 1979. In one of two fields west of drove running south from Platts Corner. On surface of ploughed field.
Rim sherd of Late Saxon Thetford ware bowl, with rouletted rim.
NB. Fields are in low-lying silt marsh and there is therefore a strong possibility that the sherd was brought in with manure.
Sherd in NCM.
Compiled by A. Gregory (NAU), 17 December 1979.
