Full Description
November 1979. Found with metal detector in ploughsoil [1].
Silver sceatta of 'Fantastic Animal' type.
Seen by A. Gregory (NUA) 20 December 1979.
A. Gregory (NAU) 7 December 1980.
21 April 1980.
Reidentified as probably a Frisian sceatta, late 7th-8th century.
Cast of coin in NCM.
