Summer 1979. Found in spoil from earthmoving for new workshop.
Large, fresh sherds of Roman pottery of mid 1st to early 2nd century. Including shouldered bowl and sherds of large coarse imitation Dragendorf 37 with crude compass scribed decoration.
Site examined with metal detector, no further finds.
