Summary

This is the site of a post medieval windmill, marked on Faden's map of 1797. However, the mill shown on the map may be the mill recorded as NHER 17962.

Informant [1] has no record of this as a wind mill and suggests it may have been for pumping.

It is difficult to locate the mill precisely from (S1) and it may be intended for a predecessor of the High Mill, NHER 17962.
