Summary

A Palaeolithic flint object was found here at some time before 1973 and subsequently donated to the King's Lynn Museum. The museum's records suggest that it may be a Middle Palaeolithic Levallois flake.

Found in Lexham at unknown date:
1 Palaeolithic flint object. Donated to the King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1973.130.21). Described in the museum's records as both a "handaxe" and a "Levallois flake". Oval, 13cm x 9cm, grey-white flint, patinated; one tiny patch of cortex on facetted side.

Later confirmed as a flake, not a handaxe.

This object is noted by Wymer on (S2) and in (S3), althought it appears that he had not examined it personally. It is also listed in (S4) and (S5) but no additional information is given.
