Summary
In 1976 an incomplete post medieval pottery skillet was found in the clay here during the construction of a new pumping station. It had a greenish brown glaze and was missing its handle.

Summer 1976. Found in building new pumping station. 4.8m (16ft) deep in clay.
Post medieval pottery skillet, greenish brown glaze, rim diameter 15cm.
Incomplete, handle missing.
Held by KLM, formerly by Anglian Water Authority.
