Summary

A Neolithic to Bronze Age macehead, shale spindle whorl, double ended hammer, part of a polished axehead and possibly two flint axeheads were recovered from this field. Later fieldwalking found part of Neolithic to Bronze Age flint blade and a piece of medieval pottery.

Fragment of axe reused as double ended hammer.
Part polished axe head, one end reused as hammer.
Two chipped and polished axe heads, one facetted (but one of these may be NHER 15798).
