Summary
A windmill was marked at this location on an Ordnance Survey map of 1836. It was built in 1804 (when it replaced an earlier post mill) and was demolished in 1861.

Site of a windmill. Marked on 1836 1st edition 1in Ordnance Survey map (S1).
E. Rose (NAU) 27 March 1980.
Known as Great Mill; tower mill (smock mill) replaced a post mill in 1804. Demolished November 1861.
