Full Description
Spring 1980. Close to west edge of field. Found on surface of ploughed field.
Sherds of Roman coarse pottery and two sherds of Central Gaulish Samian ware. Found scattered over area about 50m across.

August to September 1980. Southwest and west part of field. Found on surface of ploughed field.
Scatter of Roman sherds including two scraps of Samian, one sherd of local colour-coated ware and local copy of Oxfordshire mortarium.
Also sherds of 16th-18th century pottery.
Some brick and tile on surface, none certainly Roman.

Roman terret ring of protected loop type, central tubular stem containing iron corrosion.
