Summary

This range of 16th century buildings includes the Bull Inn which is a timber framed building with a brick lancet. It may originally have been a pilgrims hostel. The upper floor was subdivided in the 17th century and the façade and extensions date to the 19th century. One of these extensions may incorporating part of medieval precinct wall of St Mary's priory (NHER 2029). No. 9 has a 17th century brick facade. No. 10 (Estate Office) is a jettied timber frame building with a masonry gable wall.

Range of buildings. Bull Inn 16th century, basically timber framed but with brick lancet; upper floor with good fireplace, apparently originally one large room, possibly a pilgrims hostel if pre Reformation, or else as inn from the beginning. 17th century subdivisions; 19th century facade and extensions, incorporating part of medieval precinct wall? An amount of reused medieval masonry also. No. 9 has 17th century brick facade. No. 10 (Estate Office) jettied timber frame with masonry gable wall.
