Full Description
Site of windmill.
Marked on First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S1).
Known as Thetford Road mill; a smock mill, marked on Bryant's 1826 map (S2).
'For Sale - To Be Removed' in 1859.
Information recorded on record card (S3). Historical identification provided by [1].

A mound, most likely post-medieval in date, is seen as an earthwork on visualised lidar data (S4).
This feature most likely relates to a former smock mill recorded from historic maps (as above).
The mapped extent of this record has been expanded from a point to a polygon [2].
