Summary

The 18th century timber-framed house here has been suggested to be Bishop's Farm, a manor house/palace for the bishops of Norwich, but is more likely to be a farmhouse belonging to the manor.

Church or Bishop's Farm.
Site of manor house of the bishops of Norwich, or 'palace' according to the vicar.
Present timber framed house appears outwardly early 18th century.

Perhaps a farm belonging to manor?
