Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1980 recovered sherds of medieval and post medieval pottery. Types identified included medieval Grimston Ware and post medieval lead-glazed earthenware.

16 May 1980. Northeast corner of field. Found whilst fieldwalking and stone picking.
Seventeen Grimston green glazed sherds including one bunghole and two handles.
Four medieval sherds and one rim.
One small stoneware base, approximately 35mm diameter.
Five lead-glazed earthenware sherds.
