Summary

A windmill is marked at this location on Faden's map of 1797. The building was used between 1788 and 1855. It was first used as a flour mill and may have been later used as a wind pump.

Site of windmill in Bultitudes Loke, called 'South Mill' and marked on 1836 1st edition 1in Ordnance Survey map (S1).

On Faden's map (S2) (slightly wrongly placed) as Caister Flour Mills. Worked 1788 to 1855.

(S3) suggests a post mill perhaps reconstituted as drain mill nearby.
