Summary

A Neolithic stone axe found in 1967. This is probably the same axe that is recorded under NHER 1404.

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Location

Map sheet TF63NE
Civil Parish HEACHAM, WEST NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

1967? West of Heacham Junction.
Stone axe.
Information from (S1).
E. Rose (NAU) 20 August 1980.

This is the same accession number as site NHER 1404. It seems probable there is only one axe, and as this location is marked on (S1) but NHER 1404 was taken from the CBA list, this is probably the correct findspot.
F. Healy (NAU) and E. Rose (NAU) 1 June 1987.
