Full Description
January 1969. South of Heacham Bottom Farm.
'York stone found and used for road mending etc.'
Written on (S1).
The significance appears to be that the informant reported finding 'York stone' on several Roman sites in the area.
However it is almost certainly not York stone and it is difficult to know what he meant.
E. Rose (NAU) 20 August 1980.
