'In the churchyard opposite to the south side of Hackford Church is an old studded building which looks like a Guild Hall, or town house; query?' See (S1).

1977. Visit.
Nothing remarkable was noted on the exterior of the present building on the site when area was visited.

The site is now occupied by a parochial school dated 1860, which presumably replaced the building, as (S1) says specifically it was in the churchyard.
