Summary

Some time prior to 1762 fragments of mineralised human bone were recovered 'from an old burial ground' believed to lie in Rougham. However, the exact location and date of the remains is not known.

Note that there is nothing to say that the graveyard was in Rougham and it may only have been filed under that parish as it was in the possession of North who lived at the hall.
