Summary

Fieldwalking in 1980 after the removal of the topsoil in preparation for the construction of the Harleston bypass recovered a number of finds. These included a number of prehistoric worked flints and a sherd of post medieval pottery.

29 September 1980. On 30m (100 feet) contour. Surface finds after topsoil removed for bypass.
One blade core.
Four flakes.
Three blades.
One retouched thermal fracture.
Post medieval oxidised ware with mottled brown glaze on interior and exterior, and horizontal grooves on exterior.
