Information from (S1). These discoveries were reported in (S4).
The Norwich Castle Museum holds a Late Upper Palaeolithic flint blade core that was found by [4] at this site (previously recorded as NHER 17255). This is probably the example found in 1984 recorded on the PAS database, although it could be the one that was recovered in 1981. This core is listed in (S5) and described in (S6). See drawings (S12) and (S13). The finds recovered at [8] (previously recorded as NHER 21018) are also noted in (S5), suggesting at least some of the Upper Palaeolithic pieces are amongst the collection of material held by the NCM (NWHCM : 2001.227) - probably some or all of the 5 blades and 1 crested flake that are also listed in (S5).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 28 May 2014.
