Summary
Ploughing on this site in 1948 disturbed a number of pottery sherds from the Bronze Age and Iron Age, as well as some pot boiler flints.

Full Description
1948. Stray Found.
Found at [1].
Ploughing to 18 inches (45cm) depth revealed numerous fragments of domestic pottery (Iron Age 'A' & Late Bronze Age) in coarse gritty ware, some decorated with applied bands and finger tip impressions others with slight shoulder.
Patches of charcoal also red patches. [2]
