Full Description
Pre 1980. ?Stray Find.
A King's Lynn Museum 6" record map (S1) records that a Palaeolithic flint flake was found here. Information from (S2).
There is however no other record of this find and no flint flakes from this location are held by the King's Lynn Museum. This museum does however hold a Palaeolithic flake that was found a little way to the east, on Sugar Fen (NHER 3331) - it is possible that this find was wrongly located on the record map.
E. Rose (NAU) 27 November 1980. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 5 December 2013.
