Summary

This was the site of a small medieval settlement which declined from the late medieval period into the post medieval period. Fieldwalking and metal detecting have recovered an Early Saxon brooch and medieval and post medieval pottery.

(S1) records this as Site 3, a small strip of medieval settlement. The settlement was in pronounced decline by the early post medieval period.
