1980. Found in fieldwalking after ploughing. South of Thorpe Church ruins.
Medieval body sherd and lead glazed earthenware sherd.
Identified by W. Milligan (NCM), 16 January 1981.

Late Saxon rim sherd.
Two flint blades and one core, Neolithic in type.
Quantity of medieval coarse wares 14th/15th century.
Context 1: from north-west corner of field.
Site of Thorpe rectory, ruined by 1614, in terriers.
Flemish floor tile, clear glaze white slip 15th/16th century.
15th/16th century glazed sherd.
Pottery and flint identified by A. Rogerson (NAU).
