Summary

This is the site of a ring ditch, a rectilinear enclosure and other associated linear features, visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. A Late Saxon copper alloy book mount decorated with an animal motif was found in 1993.

Rectilinear enclosure partially visible to the north east of the site. This may relate to the previously recorded miscellaneous linears. The enclosure appears to have internal sub dividing linears, some of these may form a small square enclosure alongside the southern ditch.
