Summary

This medieval church is in ruins, although parts of the nave and tower survive. Some of the surviving walls may date to the 13th century, with 15th elements and they also show evidence for a 19th century restoration of the church.

Ruins.
About 1900 (S1) describes as nave and tower only; roof under tower restored 1895. One bell in 1705. North door and tower arch Perpendicular. Traces of South transept. Brick buttresses.
In 1843 stone grave slab with cross bearing an arrowflight and 'JESU ROBERTVS' found.
Perpendicular font. 17th to 19th century memorials. Traces of chancel. Chalice and paten marked 1642.
(S2) however notes a 13th century doorway, a Georgian east window replacing the chancel; says chalice is dated 1567 and paten 1810.
