Map

2 August 1977. NAU air photography.
Cropmarks. Miscellaneous linear ditches visible as positive cropmarks. Forming small rectangles.
D. Edwards (NAU), 18 March 1981.

July 2007. Norfolk NMP.
NMP mapping has led to the alteration of the central grid reference of the site from TM 3954 9971 to TM 3952 9980.

The ditches described above are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2). Their date and function is unclear. They are not particularly convincing as archaeological features and may simply mark the line of late post medieval or modern field drains.

It should be noted that due to inadequate control, rectification of the aerial photographs of the site was poor, and this may have adversely affected the accuracy of the mapping.
S. Tremlett (NMP), 31 July 2007.
