October 1981. Norfolk Archaeological Research Group Survey. Central House, Exchange Street (corner of Griffin Lane).
Alterations to Victorian building revealed fossil timber framed gable incorporated in off centre position of brick gable. Two blocked window spaces and wattle and daub filling. 17th century? Sealed by a triple flue clay lump chimneystack.
