Cropmarks of incomplete enclosure or field boundaries of unknown, possibly Roman, date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The central grid reference for these cropmarks has been amended from TM 4035 9808 to TM 4039 9810. Linear ditch cropmarks are present defining a group of incomplete enclosures or fields which lie on a roughly south-west to north-east axis. These fields do not conform to the post medieval field pattern and are possibly of Roman origin.
J. Albone (NMP), 04 July 2007
