Summary

Metal detecting in 1987 and 1988 recovered Roman coins and metalwork, as well as an Iron Age terret and a Roman enamelled seal box lid. This site is associated with two other scatters, NHER 2867 and NHER 24053, which may be evidence of a Roman villa.

Numbered as 2 on (S2), irregular copy of Antoninianus, Claudius II, 270-280s.
