Summary

A timber framed late medieval or early 16th century cottage. The upper floor and chimney stack were added in the 17th century. The whole house was clad in brick in 1910, as were others in the vicinity. However, recent renovation revealed some of the original features of the building, such as mullioned window and timber beams.
