Full Description
6 November 1970. Field to west of Longlands, Holkham Estate.
Gold bar torc (Tara torc) found on drill (drilling winter wheat).
Field ploughed to 25cm to 30cm (10 to 12 ins) since about 1952.
Reported to NCM 10 November 1970.
Site visited by W.F. Milligan (NCM) and E.B. Green (NCM) 12 November 1970.
