Summary

This was the site of a common edge settlement during the medieval and post medieval periods. Fieldwalking on the site has recovered prehistoric flints, Roman tesserae, and medieval and post medieval pottery and finds. Fragments of medieval brick found on the site may have come from a house or other building on the site.

(S1) records this as Site 31, between Orchard Farm and Green Farm. Pottery dating from the 14th to the 16th centuries has been found on the site, and the fragments of medieval brick recovered are evidence of a former house site.
