Summary

This was the site of a common edge settlement during the medieval period. Fieldwalking has recovered medieval and post medieval pottery and other finds, including slag and fragments of clay pipes.

September 1981. Found in fieldwalking by Hales Survey, site 32.
78 medieval unglazed.
29 late medieval to early post medieval glazed.
42 post medieval glazed.
1 Staffs slipware.
5 post medieval stoneware.
1 basalt ware.
1 clay pipe stem.
1 hone with subsquare section.
1 slag.
