Summary

Information regarding the location of the Manor House is confusing, but this represents a possible site for the building. The current building is largely of the 1840s, with some 19th century work, although a 17th century quoin of brickwork can be seen. This is likely to be the last remnant of the work by Dr Wyse, a rector of the parish between 1613 and 1660, who is said to have built the brick part of the parsonage.
