Around 1961-1962. Stray Find.
Found after field had been ploughed for the first time in living memory:
Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead. See drawing (S1).
Information from (S2). This discovery was reported in (S3).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 21 February 2018.
Before ploughing field contained 'mounds and ditches'.
