Summary

In 1982 a Mesolithic or later pebble macehead with an hour-glass perforation was recovered from this area. Metal detecting in 2004 recovered a prehistoric flake and two post medieval metal objects.

Found on surface of drilled field at [1]:
1 Mesolithic or later pebble macehead with hour-glass perforation. See sketch (S1). This discovery was reported in (S2). Identified and compiled by E. B. Green (NCM), 22 April 1982. Information from (S3).
These objects are not closely datable having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts.
